Have to assume that Acronis or Macrium or whoever – should have mastered the basics by now – so I would never spend any more money on this types of app unless there was a quantum leap in performance regarding the size and speed in which they can take a full system image. All the bells and whistles and extra flashy doodads won’t make a bit of difference if your backups are not accurate and useable. Have learned for almost all of my software to focus on what’s important. As long as the application is creating solid backups that you can actually rely on when needed – it’s doing it’s job.
